How we checked: Read the CS3 product page, the CS3 versus Graphene comparison page, the ceramic coatings hub page and the compliance index on adamspolishes.com, then downloaded and parsed the CS3 safety data sheet from their CDN, then read the manufacturer-supplied A plus content on their own Amazon listing. Adam's hosts its own safety data sheet, names CS3 on its SDS index, and discloses a full ingredient table with CAS numbers under the California Cleaning Product Right to Know Act, which is more disclosure than anyone else in this comparison offers. Nothing measured is published for CS3: the site-wide "tested through in house verification and third parties" badge names no lab, method or result, and the SGS certification and lab longevity figures Adam's does publish are for its coatings, on a page where CS3 does not appear. Durability is stated four different ways across their own materials, from "for Months" on the product page down to "1-2 months" in their own Amazon copy, which is also the figure they assign to their plain non-ceramic Detail Spray. What it does well
- Cleans, glosses and protects in one pass, which no other product here does
- The most forgiving product in this comparison by a wide margin, with no prep and no cure time
- Cheapest per bottle, and the only brand here that publishes its own ingredient disclosure
Where it falls short
- Adam's own shortest durability figure for it is 1 to 2 months, against 6 to 12 for the coatings it gets compared against
- Needs reapplying every few washes to maintain the effect
- Thinnest protective layer of the four
A three-in-one product that cleans, adds gloss and leaves a thin layer of protection in a single pass. Adam’s markets it two ways at once, and both are worth taking at face value: as a standalone coating, and as a topper to maintain a longer-lived coating underneath. Their own copy answers the standalone question directly — “yes, this works as a stand alone coating and will last 1-2 months.”
That figure is the useful one, and it is Adam’s, not ours. It means a durability comparison against products claiming 6 to 12 months is not us holding CS3 to an unfair standard; it is us reporting that Adam’s rates it roughly a fifth as durable as the coatings it sits beside on a shelf. Their own Amazon comparison table gives it the same durability as their plain, non-ceramic Detail Spray.
Where Adam’s is genuinely ahead of everyone else here is documentation. They host their own safety data sheet, they list CS3 on it by name, and they disclose a full ingredient table with CAS numbers. None of the other brands in this comparison do all three. What they do not publish is a single measured figure for CS3 — no contact angle, no coverage, no gloss reading, and no lab report behind the “tested for performance” badge that appears on every page of their site.
We include it because it is what a lot of people actually reach for between washes, so it is a real point of comparison for the maintenance case, and because it appears in our split-panel footage.
