How we checked: Read the Ultra V3 product page and the full warranty terms. Five-year warranty is real but tightly conditioned: vehicle under 3 years old, registration within 30 days, annual inspection, certified applicator only, liability capped at $1000 or product cost. No SDS found in site sitemap. Contact angle and film-thickness claims have no published method. No 9H hardness claim. Assessed August 11, 2026.

Company-level research on Feynlab — who owns it, how it is sold, and every case where its own published figures disagree — is on the Feynlab brand page.

What we measured

Nothing. This product is not in any of our test datasets, so we have no measurements of our own to report on it.

What it does well

  • Warranty terms published in full — unusually transparent
  • No 9H / 10H hardness claim
  • Specific contact-angle figure is at least falsifiable

Where it falls short

  • Warranty only for vehicles under 3 years old — not stated on the product page
  • Annual inspection and $100 inspection fee
  • No SDS found; performance numbers lack methods

Feynlab Ceramic Ultra V3 is their flagship five-year installer coating. The product page states a five-year warranty on clear-coated paint when applied by a certified installer as a single coat, and quotes a water contact angle of 113 degrees.

Read the warranty before you buy. Coverage is real — environmental damage such as tree sap or oxidation, gloss retention relative to uncoated paint — but eligibility is tight. The vehicle must be less than three years old. That restriction does not appear on the product page. Registration within 30 days, annual inspection within a 30-day window with a $100 fee, coverage starting 72 hours after application, and a liability cap of $1,000 or product cost, whichever is less. Water spots, stone chips, scratches and prior coatings are excluded.

We treat that as honesty rather than a gotcha. It is a narrower promise than “five-year warranty” suggests, and it is more useful than brands whose terms pages 404. No pencil hardness claim appears on the Ultra V3 pages. Contact angle and film-thickness numbers are published without methods; they are still more falsifiable than an “up to twelve months” spray claim.
