CQuartz UK 3.0 is CarPro’s consumer-grade bottle coating. Their own copy is unusually careful: they say they under-promise and over-deliver, so the real-world durability claim is 18–24 months.
That sentence does three things almost nobody else in this category does. It names a bounded range instead of an “up to” ceiling. It labels the figure as real-world. And it states the policy that produced the number. It is still a claim without a published dataset — but it is a more falsifiable claim than “up to twelve months.”
CarPro also publishes no hardness figure for this coating. In a market where three brands claim results above the top of the pencil scale, declining to play is a point in their favour. What they do not host is a safety data sheet on carpro.global, and the same product page gives chemical resistance as pH 3–14 and pH 3–13 a few lines apart. Finest Reserve, their installer-exclusive sibling, is a different product and should not be treated as interchangeable with UK 3.0.
