How we checked: Read the US product page in full on 11 August 2026. It contains no month or year durability figure — only "LONG-LASTING PROTECTION" and comparative ceramic-wax language. Turtle Wax publishes a California SB-258 ingredient disclosure index that names this SKU, which is more than most of the category does, but consumer SDS PDFs for the retail Hybrid Solutions line were only found on reseller hosts. No test method or dataset is published behind the protection claim. Reseller "up to 12 months" copy is not treated as a manufacturer claim. Assessed August 11, 2026.

Company-level research on Turtle Wax — who owns it, how it is sold, and every case where its own published figures disagree — is on the Turtle Wax brand page.

What we measured

Nothing. This product is not in any of our test datasets, so we have no measurements of our own to report on it.

What it does well

  • Sold everywhere and priced at the low end of the category
  • Manufacturer page makes no numeric durability claim, which is more defensible than an unsubstantiated year figure

Where it falls short

  • No checkable durability number on the manufacturer page
  • Consumer safety data sheets for this SKU were not found on Turtle Wax’s own domain
  • Product page carries a California Proposition 65 warning naming methanol

Turtle Wax’s Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Spray Coating is the mass-retail entry most people will actually see on a shelf. At $15 for 16 fl oz on the manufacturer store, it is among the cheapest bottles in this database.

The useful finding is what the page does not say. We read the full US product description and found no month or year figure — only “LONG-LASTING PROTECTION” and the claim that it delivers the long-lasting protection of a ceramic car wax in a spray-on, wipe-off format. The “up to 12 months” figure that circulates on reseller listings does not appear on the Turtle Wax page we fetched, so it is not recorded here as a manufacturer claim.

That absence is not a criticism. In a category where durability numbers are usually asserted without a method, declining to invent one is more honest than printing twelve months. What is missing, and matters more for a product this widely sold, is a consumer safety data sheet hosted by Turtle Wax itself. Their ingredient disclosure index names the SKU; the PDF sheets we found for related Hybrid Solutions products live on reseller hosts. The US page also carries a Proposition 65 warning naming methanol.
