How we checked: Read the Opti-Coat Pro warranty pack page and the SDS index. Brand hosts 53 SDS PDFs but the index omits Opti-Coat Pro, Pro Plus and Pro3 — the flagship installer coatings — while covering consumer Optimum products. Warranty terms URL printed on the product page returned 404 during research. 9H claim cites no standard. Unqualified superiority claims on chemical, scratch and release resistance have no supporting data. Assessed August 11, 2026.

Opti-Coat Pro is the five-year installer warranty tier from the chemistry house behind Optimum No Rinse. The product page says it is warrantied for up to five years with superior scratch resistance (9H), and a few paragraphs later says it provides permanent protection for modern factory paints.
Five years and permanent are not the same promise. Worse, the warranty terms link printed on that page returned a 404 when we checked, so the document that would define the five-year figure was unreachable. Superiority claims for chemical resistance, scratch resistance and release properties appear with no test, lab or dataset.
The SDS story is half good. Opti-Coat hosts a real library of dozens of sheets for consumer Optimum products. It does not include Pro, Pro Plus or Pro3 — the installer coatings the brand is built on, and the ones professionals handle all day. That gap is the finding, not a missing checkbox.
