How we checked: Fetched the US product page. Durability is stated as a technical specification: DURABILITY: >6 weeks, alongside consumption and pH tolerance. That is a floor rather than an "up to" ceiling, and it is consistent across Gyeon regional pages we checked earlier. Gyeon hosts its own SDS library under REACH. No dataset is published behind the >6 weeks figure, so the claim is still unsubstantiated even though the framing is unusually honest. Price is $44.99 but the size selector did not expose a volume on the US page, so sizeOz is omitted. Assessed August 11, 2026.

Gyeon Q²M Cure Redefined is a silica-based maintenance spray. The manufacturer technical block says durability is greater than six weeks, consumption is about 30 ml per car, and pH tolerance is 4–9.
That “greater than” framing is the entire reason this product is in the database. Almost everyone else in the consumer spray class says “up to” some large number. A floor can be beaten and is hard to hide behind. A ceiling of twelve months is satisfied by any result at all.
Gyeon also positions Cure correctly: developed to support and extend ceramic coatings, with standalone spray-sealant use as a secondary case. The page notes that new ceramic coatings can show a slight tendency toward hard water deposits in the first weeks, and that Cure immediately after coating helps reduce that risk — an unusually candid maintenance note for this category.
The claim is still unsubstantiated in the strict sense: there is no dataset. But among unsubstantiated claims, a modest floor next to consumption and pH specs is in a different league from a marketing year figure with nothing beside it.
The US page lists $44.99, but the size selector did not expose a volume when we fetched it, so that price is not stored as a per-ounce figure here. Do not compare it on cost until the variant size is confirmed.
