Hardness passage attributes "above 9H" to Strong (industrial), while automotive 9H is marketed under the same brand story. Salt spray is stated as 350 hours (SGS) and 5,000 hours (internal) in one sentence. No SDS library found. Installer-only. Ceramic Pro 9H is their flagship installer-applied coating. The coatings page describes a permanent bond and highly durable protection; concrete year figures live in the warranty document as package tiers rather than a single measured product lifespan.
Their technology page is one of the better documents in the category: SGS is named, and standards such as JIS K5400 pencil hardness, ASTM D3359 adhesion, ASTM B117 salt spray and ASTM G154 UV appear with results. The limitation is that the certificates listed by name are not downloadable. Salt spray is given as 350 hours with no visible damage (SGS) and, in the same sentence, 5,000 hours from an unpublished internal test. The hardness passage states the pencil scale’s endpoints and then claims a result above 9H for a product named Strong — their industrial coating — which is easy to misread as a result for automotive 9H.
The July 2024 warranty PDF is worth reading before any lifetime package. Terms drop if annual service is missed; commercial vehicles, brush washes, water spots, swirls, chips and non-certified installs are excluded; liability is capped at $2,000 or application cost, whichever is less. No safety data sheet library was found on ceramicpro.com.
