We could not read IGL’s website, so this page reports almost nothing about their products. That is a gap in our research, not a criticism of the company, and the distinction matters enough to spell out.
What happened
iglcoatings.com returns HTTP 403 to automated requests, including requests presenting ordinary browser identification. Every other brand in this database was read directly from its own pages. For IGL, the manufacturer’s own statements — durability figures, hardness claims, warranty terms, company history, founding year — were simply unreachable by the method we applied consistently to everyone else.
We are not going to fill that gap with a review site’s summary. A durability figure repeated from a third party and attributed to a manufacturer is how bad information becomes permanent, and it is the specific failure this database exists to avoid.
What we can verify
The official United States distributor is IGL Coatings USA Ltd. of Saraland, Alabama, and it publishes a document library containing both safety data sheets and manufacturer technical data sheets for the products people ask about — Kenzo K1 in base and top form, and Quartz+ likewise.
That is a meaningful positive. Technical data sheets are manufacturer-authored, so IGL clearly produces proper documentation even though we reached it through a distributor rather than from the brand. Documents hosted by a distributor are still weaker than documents hosted by the maker, for the ordinary reason that they sit outside the brand’s control and may lag the formulation currently shipping.
The brand markets itself on low and zero VOC high-solids chemistry, and displays an ISO certification badge with no certificate linked. We are reporting that the badge exists rather than that the certification does.
What would close this
The Kenzo and Quartz+ technical data sheets in the distributor’s library are the most likely route to IGL-authored durability figures, and opening them is the obvious next research pass. Until someone reads the manufacturer’s own pages in a browser, this entry should not be used for any comparison against another brand.

How we checked: This is the weakest entry in the database and the audit reflects a research limit rather than a finding about the company. iglcoatings.com returns HTTP 403 to every automated request, including with browser user agents, so nothing on the manufacturer’s own site could be read. Safety data sheets and technical data sheets for Kenzo and Quartz+ are published, but by the official US distributor rather than on the brand’s own domain, which is why this records as third-party. We did not open the technical data sheets, so no durability or hardness figure is reported. Assessed August 10, 2026.

Everything on this page about the company traces to one of these, with the date we read it. Brands edit their own claims, so an undated citation is worthless.
